The Conklin Track Team had an outstanding showing at last night’s meet, highlighted by several strong finishes, including a first-place overall finish in the 4x1 relay.

RPS 205 & Tyson teamed up to host the Ultimate Chicken Sandwich Contest, and this week, the winning creations officially hit the school lunch menu! Congratulations again to Connor @ Conklin, Iker @ Flinn, & Jordan @ Auburn! Each winner received a Nintendo Switch & a portrait of their delicious masterpiece. From idea to tray, their sandwiches were a hit across the district!

Conklin Academy hosted Career Day, where volunteers shared insights on their professions, including job duties, education, & career pathways. Students explored fields like healthcare, trades, education, engineering, media, & more. They gained inspiration for their futures.
Due to the emergency day used on March 16, the last day of school is now Thursday, May 21 for Early Childhood, and Friday, May 22 for K-11 grades. Seniors' last day will stay the same on Friday, May 8.
All RPS 205 schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, March 16, due to weather. All after-school activities will also be cancelled, including Y Care. The RPS 205 Administration Building, Sterling Holley, & the Operations Support Center will be open.

Members of the AHL All-Stars, NHL, and Rockford's own Ice Hogs swung by Conklin Academy today to give students some hockey pointers. Students practiced their technique with the pros before facing off in a scrimmage!
